[PT] Marta Gonçalves, Líder Digital e Embaixadora do Programa Better Internet for Kids (Portugal)
Marta Gonçalves é Embaixadora Jovem Europeia do programa Better Internet for Kids da Comissão Europeia. O seu percurso na defesa dos direitos das crianças no meio online começou com a sua participação na iniciativa portuguesa Líderes Digitais, promovida pelo Centro de Sensibilização SeguraNet. Desde então, tem colaborado com o Ministério da Educação português, participando em várias conferências e palestras onde partilha a sua perspetiva sobre os desafios que os jovens enfrentam no ambiente digital, colaborando ainda com outras entidades nacionais e internacionais. Desde que integrou o painel jovem do BIK, tem contribuído como consultora em várias sessões online sobre diversos regulamentos, como o Regulamento dos Serviços Digitais da União Europeia. Foi também oradora em diversos eventos europeus, como o Safer Internet Fórum 2024 e 2025, o 15.º Fórum Europeu sobre os Direitos da Criança e, mais recentemente, integra o “Painel de Especialistas sobre Segurança das Crianças Online e Possíveis Restrições de Idade nas Redes Sociais”, sob a orientação da Comissão Europeia.

Marta Gonçalves, Digital Leader and Ambassador of the Better Internet for Kids Program (Portugal) Marta Gonçalves is a European Youth Ambassador for the European Commission’s Better Internet for Kids program. Her journey in defending children’s rights online began with her participation in the Portuguese initiative Líderes Digitais (Digital Leaders), promoted by the SeguraNet Awareness Center. Since then, she has collaborated with the Portuguese Ministry of Education, participating in various conferences and lectures where she shares her perspective on the challenges young people face in the digital environment, also collaborating with other national and international entities. Since joining the BIK youth panel, she has contributed as a consultant in several online sessions on various regulations, such as the European Union’s Digital Services Regulation. She has also been a speaker at several European events, such as the Safer Internet Forum 2024 and 2025, the 15th European Forum on Children’s Rights and, more recently, is part of the “Expert Panel on Children’s Online Safety and Possible Age Restrictions on Social Networks”, under the guidance of the European Commission.
