Inspector da Polícia Judiciária desde 1999, tendo trabalhado em investigações relacionadas com crimes de tráfico aduaneiro (contrabando), de 1999 a 2010.

Actualmente desempenha funções na investigação de crimes de Exploração e Abuso Sexual de Menores na Internet. Nesta área de investigação encontra-se integrado no grupo que recebe e processa comunicações de congêneres internacionais, assim como do NCMEC, para posterior abertura de investigações. Participa a nível internacional em grupos de trabalho de identificação de vítimas de abuso sexual, sendo formador em OSINT e VID.

Inspector of the Polícia Judiciária since 1999, having worked on investigations related to customs trafficking crimes (smuggling) from 1999 to 2010. Currently, he works on the investigation of crimes of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of Minors on the Internet. In this research area, he is integrated into the group that receives and processes communications from international counterparts, as well as from the NCMEC, for the subsequent opening of investigations. He participates internationally in working groups for the identification of victims of sexual abuse, and is a trainer in OSINT and VID.
